The old town offers theatre (the Shaw Festival runs from April through November), shopping, antiques, golf, carriage rides, museums and historic sites, spas, walking and biking trails, sailing, jet boat rides, tours and tastings at the many surrounding wineries, and many special events and festivals. Nearby Niagara Falls is home to the famous natural wonder as well as two casinos and the Butterfly Conservatory.
